First off, I'll be providing all day and night coverage of this possible event
so bookmark and reload often for the latest news.
Okay, here we go. As everyone knows the SPC has the area in a slight risk..
Which I most part agree with.. especially the 30% wind risk. I don't really see any major tornado threat, but since
last night the RUC soundings for 00Z Tonight show more wind shear and higher helicites. So I think that a hail/damaging
winds threat is our main concern, but we're seeing a lot of instability in the Southern Indiana area, so I think
a added isolated Tornado threat is possible. We'll know more as time progresses.. to the right you'll see a series
of today's weather maps.. anytime a new meso is out or spc issues a new outlook or watch, I'll post here with my
thoughts on the situation.
At the moment I think we're going to see a nice bow event today, but if we
can get any pre-squall line development, we'll most likley see our Tornado threat come from there..
Notice on the soundings.. Not much of a CAP at all to inhibit
development, shear is pretty strong in the upper level from Indianapolis, Instability is decent
